Philadelphia, Penn. (July 18, 2013)—Uomo Moderno™ is proud to announce the launch of the first and only all Italian men’s lifestyle magazine, which pays tribute to the 2013 Year of Italian Culture, an initiative of Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The release of Uomo Moderno™ coincides with the upcoming celebrative performance in New York by Italy’s most prominent dancer, Roberto Bolle, who is featured on the cover.
Uomo Moderno™ fills a void in the market through a radical approach to men’s style, which, not only embraces outer appearance but all areas of life, as it showcases contemporary Italy as example. It is a voice that breaks with stereotypes by capturing the spirit of modern-day Italian living—hence the title, “Modern Man.”
Uomo Moderno™ is an appealing picture-driven guide for a new class of professional men who wish to look beyond the confines of their own culture and explore different concepts of luxurious living. The magazine pays particular attention to fashion, but not to the exclusion of travel, cuisine, décor, sports, motor, and music—all through extensive interviews with the star players in each field.
An independent magazine, Uomo Moderno™ is created by a small team of passionate Italians with Francesco Di Maio at the helm, who, having worked in nearly thirty countries, funnels twenty years of journalism, publishing, fashion, and design into this project.
The first issue has been released as a tablet edition, which is compatible with iPhone, iPad, Playbook, Android phones and tablets, Blackberry Torch, and PCs/laptops. The print edition will follow shortly. The tablet edition can be obtained for free at Uomo-Moderno.com.
