For autumn/winter 2013, René Gurskov visits the YMCA of 1978, which appeared in the lyrics of the Village People’s song YMCA.
René was impressed by the innocence of the lyrics and the cruising activity that was rumored about the YMCA.
Hence, the collection is both innocent—almost childishly cute—and streetwise hard!
Using the original graffiti of 1978, the collections mixes in bears, hears, and assorted looks of the village people.
