This season Reiss menswear takes on an evolving, flexible voice with a focus on seasonal dressing, innovative design and character-filled outfits. An element of frivolity and theatricality pays homage to retro Vanity Fair shoots.

There’s a combination of ease with functionality, and the collection is broken up into six parts, enabling the consumer to confidently shop excitement at any given time.

Unapologetically stylish, creating a collection that finds modernity in tradition – future proof. It’s about Right clothes- right place- right time.

The Outsider

The transitional part of the collection, The Outsider presents timeless classics with innovative fabrications in monochromatic colouration. Hero pieces include the black Colorado leather jacket, grey Schroader mixer and classic Nevis white shirt.

Inspirations are taken from hard black and white imagery, together with modern, iconic architectural buildings.

Film Noir

A nod to 40s and 50s Hollywood flicks, ‘hard boiled’ fiction pushes further a cool black and white aesthetic. Movies influence with easy silhouettes, and there’s a hypnotic play on shadows and tones, in muted hues.

Harder details and exaggerated tones push the colour palette into a confident place, filtered with shadow colouration. The Picton suit and waistcoat in grey, the rose-coloured Greatstone coat, and white Buster shirt all feature. A natural sophistication and elegance includes dandy frivolities and a touch of vanity.

Autumn Legacy

Reflecting the true mark of transition from summer into winter, Autumn Legacy brings with it a sense a melancholy. The possibilities of summer are gone and the chill of winter is on the horizon. Skies turn grey and people turn inward both physically and mentally.

This change heralds a colour break with warm tones added to the fray. Harvest accents, layering products and technical fabrication take centre stage. With the chill comes heavier fabrication and there’s the introduction of 3-piece suiting, textured fabrics and comforting outerwear.

An aristocratic air blends with a sumptuous offering. Highlights include the Casablanca grey coat, mouse grey Park knit and dark green Brightling trouser.

Love of the Great Outdoors

“Turns the mundane upside down with a passion for
exploration”

Clothing is designed to meet functional needs. The palette draws inspiration from the spectacular imagery of stunning parks and beautiful landscapes. Nature and history inspire each other as atmospheric becomes the inspiration.

There’s a rich sense of heritage, as moments of connection are made between us and nature. Simplicity and utility become key ingredients for items, such as the cream Mink knit, Freeport selvedge navy jean and oxblood Ginsberg boot.

Cocktails at Claridges

Claridges continues to be graced by a discerning clientele who appreciate its service and discretion, its beauty and rich heritage. This collection dresses accordingly- original deco elegance with a modern twist.

An edit of classic items, essential pieces every man should own for 2012.

Winter and party season is on the horizon, and this part of the range prioritises flattery over trendy. There’s a slick aesthetic with an artisan thread running through clothes, fitting to the backdrop of this Mayfair establishment. A nod towards the prohibition era of 20s US sees a surprising use of colour.

Standout hits include the bronze Gene coat, Harvest grey pinstripe suit and tan CLements brogue.
