New York Fashion Week Spring 2014

While many were sad to see New York Fashion Week come to a close, the final day brought some of the most interesting designs to the runway, including Kithe Brewster’s latest collection, “And Then There Were Birds.”

Nothing about this show was ordinary. The clothes and makeup were very avant-garde, and even the venue at Maserati of Manhattan was unusual. Behind the chairs for spectators, sleek and sexy Maseratis lined the runway in blue, yellow, black, and white – colors corresponding to Brewster’s designs.

The women’s designs weren’t the only pieces that sparkled; Brewster also presented three menswear pieces, including shorts and a top in a black and white sequined abstract pattern.
