British heritage brand Henri Lloyd is proud to unveil their AW13 collection to mark their 50th anniversary. Henri Lloyd have a wealth of experience in Marine technology and innovative product design and have fused this with their sharp aesthetic vision. The AW13 collection reinforces Henri Lloyd as the go to brand for complete foul weather protection.
The collection revolves around a core of winter essentials; technical jackets provide robust protection from the harsher winter elements whilst textured knitwear in cables and waffle stitch provide warmth and comfort. The collection is punctuated by colour, from bright vibrant tones to subtle autumnal notes. The prestigious logo adorns a variety of t-shirts, polo’s, jersey sweaters and rugby shirts, and as ever, Henri Lloyd’s nautical heritage is evident throughout. In addition, there has been particular care taken to craft a range of accessories which compliment the clothing and reinforce the HL design principles.
The AW13 collection includes the Tuscana Pea Coat which echoes out Henri Lloyd’s sailing routes and detail to true classic British design. This fitted Melton double breasted men’s jacket has multi stitch detailing to its collar stand, cuff, hem and welted pockets. With a tonal HL Laurels branding sleeve detail and a fashion forward tailored cut, this jacket shows how Henri Lloyd’s attention to design and detail constantly stays intune with the fashion industry.
Another key piece of the collection is the Atlas Jacket. This ultimate all weather protection jacket combines immaculate construction with a classic and fashionable design. Fully seam taped for sublime waterproofing and constructed with a Primaloft quilted lining for comfort this jacket is at the height of performance. Combine this with the new Union Jack branded embroidery to the right sleeve and reworked HL Laurels Hi-Build heat transfer to left chest logo make this garment a stand out piece.
In designing the AW13 collection, Henri Lloyd has managed to craft a concise collection of modern heritage pieces, deftly balancing 50 years of design experience and nautical heritage, with a clear vision of modern menswear and an understanding of the modern man.
