Bespoken’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection
explores the commonalities and contrasts of British woodsman gamekeepers and
rebel vigilantes. Coupled with Bespoken’s knowledge of classic Savile Row
tailoring, the result is a collection of Fall/Winter staples that are durable
and functional with a sartorial edge.

The collective team behind Bespoken comprised of Liam Fayed, Sam Fayed, James Fayed, Paulo Goncalves, and Carlos Goncalves, focused on the woodsmen of the early 1900’s in the United Kingdom and the revolutionary vigilantes epitomized in the cult film Boondock Saints. Both sources inspired a sense of utilitarianism for the season with practical garments that are resilient to the rough winter weather. The influence of the hunter and protector is seen throughout with the use of a camouflage print and tiger stripes in key pieces such as a Poacher’s Jacket with a quilted lining, a Sacque Jacket and Norfolk Blazers.

Outerwear has a strong presence for Fall/Winter 2012 with pea coats and topcoats finished with shearling details. Bespoken’s tailored elegance is preserved with expertly made suits; accented with patching and contrasting sleeves. The brand also continues to offer a strong shirting selection showcasing its craftsmanship; its latest includes a denim shirt with the selvage exposed on the placket & gauntlets. Also, leveraging the Thomas Mason archives dating back 125 years, Bespoken continues to resurrect hand-drawn patterns, and treating the fabric with unique washes to create exclusive styles.

The distinct combinations of fabrics which achieve textural complexity is a core component of the Bespoken brand. This season, Bespoken evolves their signature mix by pairing worsted & boiled woolsand knits with their suiting. Bespoken sources materials from esteemed English and Italian mills, including Fox Brothers & Co and Moessmer, respectively to showcase their appreciation of the heritage and history of English tailoring.

Bespoken continues to expand their accessories category for Fall/Winter 2012. In their third season of offering footwear, the range of styles offered grows. Handcrafted in Italy, a washed leather brogue and a chunky cleated boot with wool paneling compliment the seasonal narrative. The brand provides classic neckwear and pocket squares to complete each look.

The resilience and heritage of the gamekeeper unites with the rebellious streak of vigilantes to create a sophisticatedly tailored, utilitarian collection for Fall/Winter 2012.
